Are you thinking about running for the 2024 Sunflower Board of Directors?

 

There are 6 two-year positions up for election for the 2024 Board of Directors. To be placed on the ballot you must be a resident in good standing.

 

Please submit a short personal narrative to the Sunflower office no later than October 10, 2023, at 2 p.m. You can email your personal narrative to svha@sunflowercanton.com, or drop it off at the Sunflower office during normal business hours.

 

Intentions submitted after the 2 p.m. deadline on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, may be considered at the January 2024 board meeting to help fill any vacant board positions.

 

Personal Narratives should be 350 words or less and include:

• A statement on why you would like to serve on the HOA Board.
• Any personal experience or skill set you feel would be beneficial to the community;
• Any ideas on potential improvements to our community that you feel particularly passionate about, and
• Anything else you would like to include to help residents in their voting selections.

All candidates are encouraged to attend the next board meeting on Wednesday, September 20 to experience what the Board of Directors’ responsibilities include.

 

Please consider sharing your time and talent as we oversee the management of our community assets, and organize community events and projects for Sunflower residents. Giving a little time goes a long way in enhancing our community.
