It was brought to our attention that on Memorial Day around 6pm, four young boys jumped the fence at the Gainsborough pool and took a swim and were caught on our security cameras.
Our first concern is the safety of these kids. There are no lifeguards on duty, and the pool is currently under shock treatment and full of strong chemicals that could potentially burn their tissues, skin and eyes.
Beyond safety, trespassing is against the law. Trespassers could have legal action brought against them and we could revoke their pool privileges. We are asking the parents of our community to have a conversation with their children to stress the seriousness of trespassing.
